This policy explains cancellations and refunds for Scaler's paid services. Who handles your refund depends on how you paid. Until paid plans open, we offer a free trial only; the free trial involves no payment, so nothing is charged.

Article 2 (Cancellation)
- You can cancel at any time from the billing settings.
- After cancellation, you are not charged from the next billing date and can keep using the Service until the end of the period already paid.
- To get a refund, request one under Article 3 or 4. You can cancel and request a refund at the same time.
Article 3 (30-Day Full Refund)
- Every payment — the first payment and every automatic renewal, monthly and annual alike — is refunded in full if you request it within 30 days of that payment, with no reason needed and regardless of use.
- There is no limit on the number of refunds.
- When a payment is refunded in full, the subscription it paid for ends at the time of the refund.
Article 4 (Annual Subscription Refunds After 30 Days)
- Annual subscriptions are also refunded as follows when canceled more than 30 days after the payment.
- Refund = amount paid × (remaining days ÷ 365). Remaining days are counted from the date you request cancellation, and amounts below KRW 1 are rounded down.
- Example (amounts for illustration only): you cancel after 100 days on an annual plan of KRW 120,000 → 120,000 × 265 ÷ 365 = KRW 87,123 refunded
Article 5 (Usage-Based Products)
Not applicable. We currently do not sell pay-as-you-go products (such as AI credits). If we introduce them, the rule of refunding only the unused portion will be shown in this policy and on the checkout screen.
Article 6 (Refunds Due to the Company)
- If you are unable to use the Service for 24 consecutive hours or more, or 72 cumulative hours or more in a month, due to causes attributable to the Company, we will refund the fees for the period you couldn't use the Service or extend your subscription accordingly.
- If the Company discontinues the Service, we refund the fees for the remaining period on a pro-rata daily basis, including monthly subscriptions.
Article 7 (Refund Method and Timing)
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method. If the payment cannot be canceled, we transfer the amount to a bank account designated by the member.
- The Company issues the refund (payment cancellation request) within 3 business days of receiving the request. Depending on the card issuer or payment provider, it may take a few more days to appear.
- Refunds for international payments are processed by Paddle. The terms of this policy apply equally to members who paid through Paddle.

Addendum
- This Refund Policy takes effect on 2026-10-16.
- This revision extends the 30-day full refund from the first payment to every payment and removes the repeat-request limit and every condition that applied to renewals, monthly subscriptions and termination for a Terms violation, and sets the refund for an annual subscription canceled after 30 days as a daily pro-rata amount based on the remaining days (÷ 365). It is favorable to members, and no Paid Services had been sold when it was made, so no payment is governed by the previous version.
